What is speech therapy?

Speech therapy is the practice of assessing and treating communication, speech, feeding, and swallowing disorders. It is performed by licensed Speech-language pathologists and SLP assistants, which are often referred to as Speech therapists.

How are speech language pathologists helpful?

A speech pathologist is able to assess and treat a variety of speech and language problems as well as assist in feeding and swallowing therapy. An SLP will develop a plan of care to ensure a patient has adequate techniques and practices to overcome issues caused by disorders or other communication hindrances.

Who does speech therapy benefit?

Anyone with any sort of speech, communication, language, or feeding/swallowing delay would benefit from Speech Therapy. We also help with children who are nonverbal to help them learn effective ways of communication.

Our Core Values

We are dedicated to working with children on the level that works best with them and developing programs unique to every child that will help them thrive in their communication and language development. In doing so we have adapted these four values to help us succeed in our goal.
